Still hung up on my adventures at Mississippi Records this past weekend, and on my way to work, listened to one of the mixed tapes I bought from them. The title, "The Whole World is Gay."

Staff members at Mississippi make their own tapes and put them out for sale, $3 a pop, which is pretty amazing considering these gems are full of rare songs one might otherwise never hear about.

My favorites off "The Whole World is Gay": "You Led Me to the Wrong," by Ola Belle Reed. Unfortunately I can't put the YouTube video on here for some strange stupid fucking reason, but here's another song of hers that's equally amazing.

The other song off the mix tape that I love is this really silly weird country song that makes me laugh like a giddy school girl every time I hear it.

"My Uncle Used to Love Me But She Died" (with lyrics)

Just listen to that song and tell me it's not brilliant.

The End.
